Birthday Party Policies.
The staff at Generations work hard to offer your family an awesome birthday party to remember. The following policies are to assure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable day.
1. The individual who has booked the party is considered the primary contact person for this event. If this individual does not plan to attend the event, we ask that they please contact us to let us know who the host will be for your group on the day of the event.
2. The party host will be asked to sign a standard liability waiver with their contract.
3. The party host, not our team, is responsible for the behaviour of all adults and children within the group for the entire duration of their party at Generations. Any guests acting out will be directed to the party host.
4. Every adult and child affiliated with the group is expected to adhere to Generations code of conduct.
5. There is a non-refundable deposit of $100 that is required at the time of confirmation. Full payment is required as of the party. An invoice will be sent and payment can be made through Quick Books or via e-transfer to birthdays@generationsperformingarts.com
6. If you need to change the date of your booked birthday party, please contact us. Change requests must be made 30 days prior to the party date. We cannot guarantee another date close in range. Your $100 deposit is transferable to your new date.
7. We recommend drop-off for guests 5+ (unless they need their parent for support). We ask that no more than one parent is present with each guest (outside the birthday child’s family) due to capacity restrictions (babes in arms 0-12months are excluded). Please note, while the activity is going on, parents are welcome to be in the room, off to the side, and the noise level must be a kept to a minimum. Performance parties (Hip Hop, Pop Star, Trolls & Swift) should not have parents in the room so that the performance is a surprise.
8. All food and drink must stay in the main room at all times. Nothing is permitted in the studios.
9. Balloons are permitted; however, they must remain in the main area.
10. Generations strives to be a nut-free environment. Therefore, nuts and nut products are not permitted on the premises.
11. Clean-up following the party must be completed by the end of the rental time. This includes removing all of the decorations and party gear including gifts, food and drinks. The staff will be responsible for garbage and recycling disposal and general clean up of the space.
